well if it's for seeing live, you should definitely try & go to a Bon Jovi concert since they're just FANTASTIC, even thoughh I haven't been to one myselff, but next tme they come down under, i'm goin' for sure!

& for more of the underground-ish stuff, i suggest you go looking for some local bands or something.
